Join board-certified periodontist Dr. Francesca Racca for a practical, clinically focused review of periodontal diagnosis and treatment. This course will revisit the 2017 Classification system, including staging and grading, while exploring how risk factors such as diabetes and smoking can influence disease progression and treatment outcomes.

Attendees will also review non-surgical and surgical treatment approaches, re-evaluation, referral guidelines, and strategies for building an effective periodontal maintenance program. Emphasis will be placed on recognizing what successful treatment looks like and communicating the importance of ongoing periodontal care to patients.

Dr. Racca brings advanced training in periodontal regeneration, implant therapy, and bone augmentation, along with both clinical and research experience in regenerative periodontal therapy.
