Michigan CE Requirements
36 CE credits every 3 years

Up to 10 hours — Free reading of dental-related articles/magazines

Must document what you read + time spent.

Minimum 12 hours — Classroom or live webinars

Replay/recorded webinars count as online, not classroom.

Up to 18 hours — Approved online courses (ADA, AGD, MI Board of Dentistry)

2 hours — Pain management
-
1 hour — Dental ethics & jurisprudence (including delegation rules)

1 hour — Infection control (sterilization, PPE, CDC guidelines)

1 hour (one-time) — Human trafficking recognition
-
12 hours — Must be RDA-specific or RDH-specific
Implicit Bias Training:

3 hours every licensing period (in-person or live webinar)
CPR/BLS Certification:
-
Must maintain a current BLS CPR card at all times
-
Required but does NOT count toward CE credits
