New MDHA Website Coming Soon
MDHA is transitioning to a new website that will continue to use the mdhatoday.org domain.
The new site will include dedicated pages for each component to share information, upcoming events, and continuing education opportunities.
The Board of Trustees voted to discontinue the previous website service through Encounter Solutions. The new website will be managed by MDHA Communication Council Chair Amanda Mishler.

MDHA Announcements
ADHA Leadership Updates
ADHA is now holding quarterly Town Hall meetings rather than an annual HOD. The next Town Hall is August 11.Since moving to the new structure, approximately 40 new resolutions have been added to ADHA policies. Some have relevance to Michigan and are expected to be introduced as Proposed Resolutions during the MDHA House of Delegates in October.Members are encouraged to explore the Volunteer Leader Resource Center and the ADHA Policy & Resolutions information available through their ADHA account.
Our District V Director has resigned, and District V states recently met to discuss the new leadership structure. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
HOD Leadership Nominations
The MDHA HOD Nominations Committee is seeking candidates for:

MDHA Leadership & Association Updates2026
MDHA House of Delegates — October 17–18The 2026
MDHA House of Delegates (HOD) will be held virtually on October 17–18.
Each component will have a minimum of three delegates and alternate delegates.
Components and individual MDHA members are encouraged to submit Proposed Resolutions (PRs) and Proposed Bylaw Resolutions (PBRs).
Parliamentarian Heather Beavers and Speaker of the House Danielle Lamsa will provide a flyer soon with important HOD deadlines.
This year's Pre-HOD meeting will be more interactive and designed to help guide new delegates through the HOD process.
MDHA leadership will gather in person in Detroit while participating in HOD virtually.
President-Elect Katelyn Fontana will be inducted as MDHA President during HOD.
MDHA plans to host 10 lead student delegates and is asking each component to consider donating a $25 gift card for the students.
